Brow Lift
A brow lift or forehead lift is appropriate for those patients experiencing sagging of the brow causing a tired appearance, deep horizontal lines across the forehead or furrows between the eyebrows and sometimes across the top of the nose. Often, those requesting eyelid surgery actually need a lift of the brow. There are many different variations of the brow lift that improve the position and overall shape of the eyebrow and forehead area. Ultimately, the brow lift will give a patient a more refreshed, less tired and youthful experience.
Over the years, the brow lift has evolved from open techniques to more complex short incision and endoscopic techniques. Typically, this procedure involves small incisions in the hair-bearing scalp. The results of the brow lift are the reversal of the effects of gravity and tightening of the soft tissue of the forehead to restore a more youthful contour of the upper face.
During consultation, Dr. Atalla will determine the best possible technique that gives the most natural look.
